About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency originally sought to procure a 1GB dedicated commercial telecommunications lease service for operations in Southwest Asia under solicitation HC102125QA068. This requirement was classified under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers) and was structured as a request for quote (RFQ) for commercial items in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. Access to detailed solicitation documents was restricted to entities registered under the appropriate NAICS code and required submission of UEI or CAGE codes for verification. Offerors were required to provide pricing structured as monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for additional service months. The original solicitation was posted on June 6, 2025, with quotes due by July 21, 2025, and included Amendment 0001 with additional clarifications.
This procurement did not utilize any small business set-aside designations and was open to all qualifying telecommunications providers. The solicitation specified compliance with standard commercial item terms and conditions under various FAR clauses, including FAR 52.212-1 through FAR 52.212-5, as well as provisions outlined in existing DITCO Basic Agreements. However, Amendment 0002 was subsequently issued to cancel the entire requirement, making the solicitation no longer active. The original requirement would have involved establishing telecommunications infrastructure in Southwest Asia, though specific performance locations, contract values, and service timelines were not disclosed in the public portions of the solicitation due to its restricted access nature.
