About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking to procure a 1GB commercial circuit for intra-Europe telecommunications services through this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This is a restricted access requirement available only to entities registered under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers), with access requests requiring the requestor's UEI or CAGE code for verification. The procurement is structured as a request for quote (RFQ) following FAR Subpart 12.6 format, with all quoted prices required to identify monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any tier pricing for additional service months. The evaluation will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, with specific evaluation criteria detailed in the attached RFQ document. The solicitation was posted on June 24, 2025, with quotes due by July 24, 2025.

This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designation and is classified under PSC code DG11 for IT and Telecom Network services. While no specific award values or budget ranges are disclosed in the public notice, the restricted nature of the requirement suggests additional financial and technical details are available only to qualified telecommunications providers who can demonstrate proper registration credentials. The solicitation incorporates standard commercial item terms and conditions referenced in existing DITCO Basic Agreements, with telecommunications providers required to comply with various FAR clauses governing commercial item acquisitions. The requested service date and acceptance criteria are outlined in the attached RFQ document, though specific timeline details for service implementation are not provided in this public synopsis. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the available documentation.
