About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency is procuring a 1GB commercial circuit for intra-Europe telecommunications connectivity through this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This is a restricted access requirement under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers), and attachments are only available to entities registered under the appropriate NAICS codes who provide their UEI or CAGE code for verification. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) following FAR Subpart 12.6 format, with no separate written solicitation to be issued. The agency will use a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation process to select the winning contractor. The submission deadline is July 11, 2025, exactly one month from the June 11, 2025 posting date.
No small business set-aside applies to this procurement, making it open to contractors of all sizes. The solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractors or specific award values, though it requires vendors to provide pricing in the form of monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for additional service months. The commercial telecommunications service appears to be for ongoing connectivity rather than a one-time installation, given the emphasis on monthly recurring charges. Specific service dates and acceptance criteria are detailed in the attached RFQ document, though the exact timeline for service delivery is not specified in the main solicitation notice. The intra-Europe designation indicates the circuit will provide connectivity between locations within European countries.
