About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is procuring a 1GB commercial telecommunications circuit for intra-Europe connectivity through this combined synopsis/solicitation. This restricted access requirement falls under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers) and is structured as a request for quote (RFQ) for commercial items under FAR Subpart 12.6. Telecommunications providers must comply with standard FAR commercial item terms and conditions, and all quoted prices must be broken down by monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for additional service months. The procurement will use a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process with detailed evaluation criteria outlined in the attached RFQ document. The solicitation was posted on June 12, 2025, with quotes due by July 11, 2025, and access to attachments requires entities to provide their UEI or CAGE code for verification under the appropriate NAICS classification.
This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designations and is open to all qualified telecommunications carriers meeting the technical requirements. The solicitation notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or specific budget ranges for the telecommunications service. While the circuit capacity is specified as 1GB for intra-Europe connectivity, the notice does not provide detailed quantities, specific timeline durations, or exact geographic locations for service delivery. The place of performance is limited to intra-Europe based on the circuit description, though specific endpoints and routing requirements would be detailed in the restricted access attachments. Service acceptance criteria and requested service dates are referenced as being included in the attached RFQ documentation that is only available to verified, registered entities.
