About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking to procure a 1GB commercial circuit for intra-Europe telecommunications services through this combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items. This is a restricted access requirement under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers), where access to attachments is limited to entities registered under appropriate NAICS codes and requires verification through UEI or CAGE codes. Telecommunications providers must comply with standard FAR commercial item terms and conditions, with all quoted prices required to include monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for additional service months. The procurement will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process for evaluation. The solicitation was posted on June 12, 2025, with quotations due by July 14, 2025.
This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designations, making it a full and open competition among qualified telecommunications carriers. The solicitation document does not specify potential award values, contract duration, or identify any incumbent contractors currently providing similar services. While the specific service capacity is identified as 1GB and the geographic scope is intra-Europe, detailed performance timelines and acceptance criteria are referenced as being contained within the attached RFQ document that is accessible only to verified registrants. The requested service date and specific performance locations within Europe are outlined in the restricted-access attachment rather than in the public synopsis portion of the solicitation.
