About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking to procure a 1GB commercial circuit for intra-Europe telecommunications services through this amendment to solicitation ef6a665865cd467bac264b29121755ef. This is a restricted access requirement under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers) that requires entities to register under the appropriate NAICS code and provide their UEI or CAGE code for verification to access attachments. The solicitation is structured as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items following FAR Subpart 12.6 format, with quotations being requested rather than formal proposals. Evaluation will be conducted using the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, with specific evaluation criteria detailed in the attached RFQ. The solicitation was posted on June 11, 2025, with quotes due by July 15, 2025.
This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designation, making it a full and open competition among qualified telecommunications providers. No incumbent contractors or specific award values are mentioned in the solicitation notice. Vendors must provide pricing structured as monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for additional service months. The specific service date and acceptance criteria are outlined in the attached RFQ document, though these details are not visible in the main solicitation notice. The contract will be governed by standard commercial item terms and conditions referenced in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, with telecommunications providers required to comply with DITCO Basic Agreements and various FAR clauses for commercial procurements.
