About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking to procure a 10GB commercial circuit for intra-Europe telecommunications services through this combined synopsis/solicitation. This is a restricted access requirement available only to entities registered under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers), with access requests requiring UEI or CAGE codes for verification. The solicitation operates as a request for quote (RFQ) without a separate written solicitation to follow, and all quoted prices must be identified by monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for additional service months. The procurement will be evaluated using the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, with specific evaluation criteria detailed in the attached RFQ document. The posting date is July 15, 2025, with a response deadline of August 14, 2025.
This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designations, making it a full and open competition among qualified telecommunications providers. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in the solicitation notice, though contractors must comply with standard FAR commercial item terms and conditions as outlined in existing basic agreements. The solicitation focuses on establishing telecommunications connectivity within the European theater, though specific performance locations are not detailed in the available information. Service providers must meet the requested service date and acceptance criteria as outlined in the attached RFQ documentation. The procurement falls under the IT and Telecom category for satellite communications and telecom access services, indicating the strategic importance of this connectivity requirement for defense operations.
