Project Description:
Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about May 1, 2013.
Description: The intent of this contract is to replace the timber deck, wheel guards and rail system, remove and reinstall steel traffic running plates on Squaw Creek Bridge on Road 34N17.
Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project.
Location: The project area is located on the Shasta Lake Ranger District of the Shasta Trinity National Forest in Shasta County, CA. Travel north of Redding on I-5 to exit 680 (CA-299) travel 30 miles to County Road 6L05. This road turns into Fenders Ferry Road (34N17). Travel approximately 21 miles, the bridge is located just past intersection of road 35N02.
Site Visit: A site visit is planned but is not scheduled as of this date. Please see solicitation (Section L) for details.
Price Range: $100,000 - $250,000
Contract Time: 90 Calendar Days
Estimated Start Date: August 1, 2013.
Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
Bonds: A Bid guarantee is NOT required with the offer. However the successful contract will be required to provide payment protection in the amount of 100% within 10 days of award.
Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than 4:30 p.m. PDT on date indicated on solicitation.
SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
