About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking to lease temporary storage space for seven generator-engine sets (GENSETs) in the vicinity of Baltimore, MD; Charleston, SC; or Norfolk, VA. The storage space must be climate-controlled and able to accommodate four large GENSETs, two small GENSETs, and one emergency GENSET, ranging from 18' to 44' in length and weighing up to 167 tons each. The lease should be for one year with four option years, and the storage space must provide access for Coast Guard personnel, physical security, and necessary electrical power and controls to maintain the GENSETs during storage. The evaluation criteria for the lease option will consider existing warehouse space or the ability to construct a suitable storage facility on vacant land.

The government has not provided any information about potential incumbents or current contractors, nor has it specified an award value or budget range.
