About this opportunity

The notice announces the government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract to Mid America Fire Apparatus Inc. for the replacement and repair of the ladder fly on Ladder 22.

The purpose of this limited source acquisition is to utilize the services of Mid America Fire Apparatus Inc., the only vendor in the area certified by E-One to perform the required modifications or repairs on this specific apparatus. This is necessary due to the specialized nature of the work and to avoid additional transportation costs that would be incurred by using a vendor located outside the local area. Interested parties may respond to this notice by email to the 22nd Contracting Squadron by September 4, 2024, but the government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this notice.
