About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force is seeking contractors to provide Space Combat Power Acquisition and Financial Support Services, focusing on strategic planning and policy implementation at the directorate and organizational level. The contractor will perform earned value management, schedule analysis, cost analysis, financial management, and engine room responsibilities as outlined in specific sections of the Performance Work Statement, while supporting the development of acquisition strategies, plans, and concepts to help customers achieve strategic and tactical objectives including milestone reviews. Key responsibilities include creating new organizational concepts, assessing unit impacts across technical, financial, and morale dimensions, developing cross-cutting portfolio management concepts, and supporting the Director with higher headquarters taskers. The work will be performed primarily at Space Systems Command locations including Los Angeles AFB, CA, Peterson AFB and Schriever AFB in Colorado, Kirtland AFB in New Mexico, and a Golden Dome for America facility in Huntsville, Alabama, with telework authorization varying by location due to classification requirements. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on June 30, 2025, with a due date of July 7, 2025, and includes a Performance Work Statement PDF attachment for detailed specifications.

This opportunity operates under NAICS code 541715 for Research and Development in Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences and PSC code AC14 for National Defense R&D Services, with no set-aside designation indicated. The contractor will be expected to work across multiple Air Force installations and may be required to travel to CONUS locations for temporary assignments as needed. The work involves supporting mission-critical space combat power capabilities and requires personnel capable of handling classified materials and supporting complex acquisition programs. The geographic distribution of work locations suggests a significant scope of operations spanning multiple states and major Air Force installations. Due to the specialized nature of the work involving strategic planning, financial management, and acquisition support for space systems, qualified contractors will likely need demonstrated experience in defense acquisition processes and space-related programs.
