No set-aside is used. The requirement covers treatment of storm-generated woody debris and authorized hazard trees on four designated trails, with the goal of maintaining safe trail function and drainage while minimizing wilderness, ecological, cultural, soil, and visual impacts. The work falls under NAICS 561730 (Landscaping Services) and PSC F014 (Natural Resources/Conservation - Tree Thinning).
The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, ISA Certified Arborist services, access, equipment, transportation, safety controls, supplies, field documentation, and quality control. The scope is selective treatment rather than comprehensive clearing, and methods must avoid damage to sensitive park resources.
Interested firms email the Sources Sought Worksheet to Contracting Officer Cole Johnson at Cole_Johnson@ios.doi.gov, with the draft Statement of Work attached to the notice. The worksheet requests firm name, CAGE code, point of contact, socio-economic status, and whether the firm would participate under FAR Part 14 sealed bidding or FAR Part 15 best value trade-off. The notice does not commit the government to issue a solicitation, and firms must respond separately to any future solicitation posted on SAM.gov.
