About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is seeking religious support services for Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler (MCIPAC-MCBB) in Okinawa, Japan. The Sources Sought Notice aims to identify potential vendors capable of providing comprehensive religious support across multiple Marine Corps camps, including Camp Foster, Camp Courtney, Camp Hansen, and Camp Kinser. Interested vendors must demonstrate the ability to fulfill three distinct service roles: Music Directors, Keyboardists, and Coordinators of Religious Education (CREs). To be considered, vendors must have an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration, meet all specifications in the Draft Performance Work Statement, and not appear on the Excluded Parties List. The deadline for submitting a Statement of Capabilities is December 6, 2024, with vendors required to provide detailed contact information, Unique Entity ID, business size, and subcontracting intentions.
The planned contract will be a firm fixed-price agreement with an initial performance period from March 15, 2025, to March 14, 2026, and includes four optional performance periods. The government is currently conducting market research to determine whether these services can be provided by a single vendor or require three independent providers. No specific set-aside has been designated, but the Sources Sought Notice indicates that the government is evaluating the potential for a socio-economic category set-aside. The contract will be awarded under NAICS Code 813110 for Religious Organizations, and vendors will be expected to support Catholic, Protestant, and Gospel services across multiple locations. While no specific award value is mentioned, the scope includes comprehensive religious support services with requirements for music direction, keyboard performance, and religious education coordination across multiple Marine Corps installations in Okinawa.
