About this opportunity

The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is conducting a Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information to identify qualified vendors capable of providing hardware repair services for the Commander's Display Unit (CSDU), a component of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) program. The procurement seeks clean/inspect/test and repair services for equipment bearing NSN 7025-01-695-2259 and manufacturer's part number SD80121024805-901. The government is targeting both small and large businesses within the electronic and precision equipment repair and maintenance industry (NAICS 811210) to assess market capabilities, production capacity, pricing structures, and quality management systems. Vendors must submit comprehensive survey responses detailing their business profiles, manufacturing capabilities, production lead times, and commercial availability of CSDU hardware repair services. All responses must be received by Friday, August 1, 2025 at 4:00 PM EST via email to katlyn.m.marck.civ@army.mil with the subject line "RFI Response CSDU (company name)." The government emphasizes this is strictly a market research effort with no guaranteed solicitation or contract award.

This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified businesses regardless of size. The government plans to repair 75 CSDU units over a three-year period, with an anticipated schedule of 25 units per year. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice, suggesting this may be a new requirement or the government is seeking alternative sources. The notice does not specify budget ranges or potential award values, focusing instead on capability assessment and market research. Respondents are cautioned to carefully mark any proprietary information in their submissions, as the government will use this information solely for acquisition planning purposes. The structured timeline indicates the government is in early planning phases for what could become a future competitive acquisition.
