About this opportunity

The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice for the production of Cover Assembly, Engine Access components (NSN: 5340-01-177-4577, P/N: 12330085). This pre-solicitation notice seeks to identify interested vendors, including both small and large businesses, to assess their capabilities and qualifications for potential future procurement of these hardware components. Respondents must be certified under the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) to access technical data packages for this procurement. All survey responses must be submitted via email to Contract Specialist Colin Creagh at Colin.t.creagh.civ@army.mil with the subject line "Sources Sought Notice, Cover, Access" no later than July 7, 2025. The government will use these responses solely for acquisition planning purposes and has outlined specific requirements for marking proprietary and confidential information in submissions.

This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified businesses regardless of size. No incumbent contractors or current suppliers are identified in the notice, nor are any award values, budget ranges, or quantities specified since this is strictly a market research exercise. The procurement falls under NAICS code 332510 (Hardware Manufacturing) and PSC code 5340 (Hardware, Commercial), indicating the industrial nature of the components being sourced. The government has attached a detailed Sources Sought Notice document for additional information and emphasizes that responses may receive limited consideration if confidential markings prevent disclosure to support contractors who assist in the evaluation process. The timeline is relatively short, with only twelve days between the posting date of June 25, 2025, and the response deadline of July 7, 2025.
