About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Eustis is conducting a sources sought notice for Gale Cengage Subscriptions to support the Jefferson Library at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. This is strictly an information-gathering notice under NAICS code 518210 (Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting and Related Services) with a $40 million size standard, and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to contract. Interested parties must provide detailed company information, small business certifications, relevant experience, pricing information, delivery schedules, and recommendations for improving competition among small businesses. The government seeks information to determine commercial availability, market pricing, and optimal contract structuring approaches. Responses to this sources sought notice are due by July 10, 2025, with contact information provided for Tara D'Amico at MICC-WP.
This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside, requiring responses from at least two qualified small businesses to maintain the set-aside designation. The government encourages participation from all socioeconomic categories including 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice. The notice does not specify award values, budget ranges, or contract quantities, focusing instead on gathering market intelligence and capability information. Companies must indicate their interest in competing as prime contractors and identify any planned subcontracting, joint ventures, or teaming arrangements. The extremely short response window of only two days suggests this may be a follow-up to previous market research or a requirement with established timelines.
