About this opportunity
This notice seeks capability statements from potential offerors to provide small arms instructor services to the Department of the Navy Military Sealift Command. The agency requires two full-time instructors to teach small arms marksmanship, advanced watchstander, and ships reaction force courses at commercial and government ranges in Virginia and Jamaica through March 2025. This is a market survey for acquisition planning purposes, and no formal solicitation exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. The potential requirement is for the services of two (2) full-time small arms instructors to support Government instructors with the teaching and qualifying of government personnel using a Small Arms Marksman (SAM), Advanced Watch stander and Ships Reaction Force training. The instructors will teach the training courses at the following ranges: Commercial range (C2) in Virginia Beach, VA (Pungo area), Government owned/operated range at Fort Eustis, VA, and the M-14 contracted range at Jamaica, VA.
