About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation has issued Sources Sought Notice SPE4A125R0009 seeking potential manufacturers for 951 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) related to aircraft parts and auxiliary equipment under Boeing's Priced Blanket Ordering Agreement/Requirements Document. This informational inquiry aims to identify additional qualified sources beyond the currently approved manufacturer to support Long Term Contract requirements for Boeing-related components. Interested parties must demonstrate their ability to manufacture the entire listed items and provide detailed information about manufacturer locations, contact information, and their manufacturing capabilities. Companies seeking to become approved sources must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package through DLA Aviation's SAR Program, demonstrating their ability to produce items equal to or better than the Original Equipment Manufacturer standards. All responses must be submitted via email to jennifer.blamy@dla.mil by July 19, 2025, at 5:00 pm EST, with the government emphasizing this is solely for market research purposes and not a formal solicitation.
This opportunity carries no set-aside designation and is open to all qualified manufacturers. Boeing currently serves as the sole approved source with two CAGE codes (0PXV4 and 81205), indicating their incumbent status for these 951 specific NSNs covering miscellaneous aircraft accessories and components. The notice does not specify contract values or budget ranges, as this is strictly an informational sources sought rather than a formal procurement solicitation. The five-day response window from July 14 to July 19, 2025, suggests the government is seeking to quickly expand their supplier base for these aircraft-related items. Companies interested in pursuing future contracting opportunities must invest in the SAR qualification process independently, as the government has made clear that no funds are available for response preparation and no commitment exists to award contracts based on this market research effort.
