About this opportunity

Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground is seeking one ultra-high-speed camera meeting specified technical parameters, with sources-sought responses due by June 30, 2026. No set-aside applies. Place of performance is Aberdeen Proving Ground.

The camera must feature a monochrome CMOS back-side illuminated sensor with minimum one million combined pixel count, capable of recording at 75,000 fps or better at 1280x800 resolution with 12-bit grayscale depth. Windowing and binning features must achieve 400,000 fps or better at minimum 640x256 resolution. On-board solid-state memory shall total at least 128 gigabyte to support recording times of one second or more. Quantum efficiency shall meet or exceed 75 percent. The camera shall weigh no more than 20 pounds, incorporate F-mount lens capability with optional C-mount, include multiple mounting points (bottom, side, and top), and feature BNC connections for trigger and synchronization. Software control from a single PC must enable snapshot recording while maintaining synchronization of paired cameras for stereo digital image correlation calibration.
