About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit (ACC-DTA) is conducting a market survey to assess industry capability and interest in supporting U.S. Army and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements for the Automotive Gas Turbine (AGT) 1500 engine. The potential acquisition, from Fiscal Year (FY) 26 through 2nd Quarter FY28, would be awarded as a hybrid Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract. The survey requests information on the respondent's experience, technical capabilities, quality control, and approach to meeting performance requirements such as providing technical and quality assistance, data collection and analysis, integrated supply chain management, field service engineering support, and overhaul production support. Respondents are encouraged to submit their interest, qualifications, and technical concepts to the government point of contact within 10 calendar days of the market survey posting.

This market survey is not a set-aside acquisition, and the government has not provided any information about potential incumbent contractors or award values. Interested parties are encouraged to review the attached market survey document for full details, disclaimers, and submission instructions.

Notice text

The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit (ACC-DTA) is issuing this market survey questionnaire to obtain information on industry capability to satisfy U.S. Army and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements for support of existing Automotive Gas Turbine (AGT) 1500 engines. The survey is intended to measure the level of industry interest in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.  The potential acquisition is for Fiscal Year (FY) 26 through 2nd Quarter FY28, to be awarded a hybrid Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract.

This Market Survey neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation to Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach.  Additionally, as a Market Survey, this inquiry does not bind the Government to solicit for or award a competitive contract.  Participation in this survey is also wholly voluntary on the part of the contractor, as no reimbursements will be made to any contractor for ANY costs associated with their participation in the survey.

Suppliers are encouraged to submit written notification of their interest, qualifications, and technical concepts to Thomas Monette, thomas.j.monette6.civ@army.mil, by no later than 4:00 PM EST ten (10) days after posting of Market Survey.

Please read the attached Market Survey document in its entirety for full details, disclaimers, directions for submission, etc.
