About this opportunity
The Bureau of Reclamation is conducting a Sources Sought notice to identify potential vendors capable of providing additional surveillance cameras for their security office at Folsom Dam, falling under NAICS 334290 for motion detectors and security system manufacturing. The agency requires specific Axis security camera equipment including panoramic cameras (P4705-PLVE), PTZ cameras (Q6075-E, 6225-LE), and box cameras (Q1656-LE) along with associated mounting hardware, lenses, weathershields, and installation accessories. Interested firms must submit electronic responses to Megan Swift at mswift@usbr.gov by July 14, 2025, at 08:00 AM ET, including capabilities statements, existing federal IDIQ contract information, UEI numbers, firm details, socio-economic categories, and contact information. Submissions are limited to five one-sided pages in Microsoft Word or PDF format and must contain only unclassified material. Questions regarding the notice must be submitted by July 11, 2025, at 08:00 AM ET. This is explicitly not a formal solicitation and no contract will be awarded based on responses to this notice.
This Sources Sought notice does not indicate any set-aside designation, making it available to all qualified contractors regardless of socio-economic status. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the documentation. The notice does not specify any award values, budget ranges, or estimated contract worth for the surveillance camera requirements. While the attached specifications detail multiple camera models and extensive mounting hardware, no specific quantities are provided for the equipment needed at Folsom Dam. The timeline for potential future procurement activities is not established, as this notice serves solely as a market research tool to identify capable vendors before any formal solicitation process begins.
