The procurement appears to be targeting approximately 3 units of the Engine Control Unit, with no current technical data package associated with the potential contract. Vendors will need to provide detailed information about their manufacturing capabilities, including production lead times, monthly production rates, current pricing, and experience with first article testing. The Army's market research aims to comprehensively understand industry capabilities and potential sources for this critical equipment, with a focus on gathering strategic insights to inform future procurement decisions.
