The combat alert cell (CAC) (bldg. 1300) at Eielson AFB, Alaska is a 25,126 SF facility. The CAC facility (center area and bays 3&4) is currently used as Fire Station 3, which is critical to providing emergency response capability to the South Loop of the airfield. The building is sitting on known contaminated soil areas ST049 and TU077. The facility was not designed to be used as a firehouse, so it does not adequately accommodate their mission. As such it is in need of renovation for reasons that include the following:

- Upgrade electric system throughout (220V addition)
- Industrial kitchen (counters, cabinets, stove, hood, plumbing, sinks, refrigerators/freezer hook up)
- Gut and replace plumbing
- E&I assessment/upgrade for AFNET (drops and fiber upgrade)
- Female bathroom 2nd floor
