About this opportunity

Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is conducting a sources sought market research effort for NSN 6625-01-458-5183, a Fluke Corporation multimeter (model 179/179ESFP), with responses due May 22, 2026.

The agency seeks information on manufacturers capable of producing this item, including manufacturer location (city, state, or country) and points of contact. Interested parties should submit information to Brandon Corbitt at Brandon.Corbitt@dla.mil. This sources sought notice precedes a planned long-term contract.

Companies wishing to be considered as approved sources may apply through the DLA Weapons Support Alternate Offer/Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. The contractor bears responsibility for documenting and demonstrating product equivalence or superiority to the currently approved item. Detailed guidance on SAR submission requirements and the approval process is available on the DLA Weapons Support website.

The procurement falls under NAICS 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing) and PSC 6625 (Electrical And Electronic Properties Measuring And Testing Instruments). No set-aside is anticipated.
