About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking to procure 250 sheets of fire-resistant anti-sweat submarine hull insulation kit (Solimide CC306 Polyimide Foam) through solicitation number SPMYM4-25-Q-0444. The procurement is specifically for a Sound Controlling Blanket with NSN 5640-01-454-8837 and part number PPD-802-6335737. Interested offerors must submit their quotes via email to Contracting Officer Anna Gunn (annamarquetta.i.gunn.civ@us.navy.mil) by May 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM HST. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted electronically 24 business hours before the due date. The contract will be awarded using a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, with evaluation factors including Technical Capability, Estimated Time of Delivery (ETD), and Price. Offerors must complete and submit the solicitation on the SF 1449 form, with a clear statement of agreement with all terms and conditions.
The solicitation is set aside exclusively for small businesses within the NAICS category 314999 (All Other Miscellaneous Textile Product Mills), with a size standard of 550 employees. The delivery destination is DLA Distribution at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, with a required delivery date of May 12, 2025. While specific award value details are not explicitly stated, the procurement involves a targeted quantity of 250 sheets of specialized submarine hull insulation material. The contract appears to be a single, time-limited procurement focusing on a specific technical requirement for submarine equipment. No incumbent contractor information is provided in the available documentation, and the solicitation suggests this is a focused, short-term procurement for a specific military maritime application.
