About this opportunity
Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division intends to solicit SolidWorks authorized training from a single provider on a brand-name basis, with quotes due by July 28, 2026. This is a simplified acquisition under FAR Part 12 procedures set aside for small business, procured as a firm fixed-price purchase order.
The requirement is for five remote training courses to support Department 75 (Underwater Electromagnetic Signatures and Technology): Introduction to SOLIDWORKS Simulation (0.5 days, 5 students); SOLIDWORKS Simulation Essentials-Private (3 days, 5 students); SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional-Private (2 days, 5 students); SOLIDWORKS Manage Administrator (4 days, 3 students); and Using SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard (0.5 days, 3 students). All courses must be completed within one year of contract award, and the contractor must provide all course materials with full accessibility for Navy personnel.
The brand-name restriction limits bidding to Dassault Systemes SolidWorks or authorized OEM dealers and resellers. Market research determined that SolidWorks training is exclusively available through the OEM and authorized resellers. CMMC Level 1 certification is required. Quotes must be priced FOB Destination with no separate shipping charges and submitted to Kylie Cox (kylie.l.cox2.civ@us.navy.mil) including official company name, point of contact with phone number, and CAGE code. Questions must be submitted by July 23, 2026 at 12:00 EST. Award will be made to the responsible quoter whose technically acceptable quote is most advantageous to the Government, considering past performance and price. NAICS code 611420; PSC U012.
