Manufacturing requires forging and heat-treating equipment, machining equipment (lathe), and established expertise in production and testing operations. Vendors must demonstrate sufficient experience and proficiency to produce items in a timely and efficient manner, obtain appropriate machinery and tooling, possess manufacturing engineering skills to support quality production, and identify any significant lead times associated with equipment or materials.

Place of performance is Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. The Government intends to utilize the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module for any subsequent solicitation; interested offerors should complete PIEE registration prior to solicitation release to avoid delays. NAICS 332993 (Ammunition Manufacturing) and PSC 1325 (Bombs) apply.
