Update #2 · Latest ·
A new source has been added for one of the NSN items. An amendment will be issued in 15 days to reopen the solicitation via Amendment 0001. The solicitation will then be open for 30 days.
NOTE: SOLICITATION TO BE ISSUED UNDER FAR PART 15 UTILIZING NEGOTIATION PROCEDURES.
DLA Land & Maritime is preparing to issue solicitation #SPE7MX22R0002 under FAR Part 15 Negotiation. The Government intends to award a five-year Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The acquisition will include a population of Two National Stock Numbers (NSNs). The firm-fixed price five-year LTC will be structured with a 3-year Base and two one-year Option periods. The solicitation will be issued on an “All or None” basis by CLIN (per NSN), being awarded to the “best value” offeror for each line item. The award may be split where one or more CLINs are awarded to one offeror and one or more CLINs are awarded to another offeror(s).
This acquisition is being pursued to provide continued or improved supply availability.
This procurement will be solicited as Unrestricted. The solicitation will reflect for both NSNs: Inspection/Acceptance at Destination, F.O.B. at Origin.
The solicitation will be for the procurement of two (2) NSNs:
5945-010119979 Solenoid, Electrical SAIA-BURGESS, INC. 81840 P/N 182670-001
5945-015156841 Solenoid, Electrical SAIA-BURGESS, INC. 81840 P/N 197967-001
Both NSNs will be procured by code and part numbers.
The RFQ will be available at the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) website at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the approximate issue date of 18 NOVEMBER 2021 or thereafter. NOTE: Due to system constraints, it may take as long as three business days from the stated date for the solicitation to post to DIBBS. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance and offered delivery and potentially other factors. An award may be made to other than the lowest-priced, technically-acceptable, responsible offeror(s).
