About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Environmental Command published a Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice to award a non-personal services, no profit/no fee cost sharing contract to Alliant Techsystems, LLC for the operation and maintenance of the Groundwater Recovery System located at the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant in Minnesota. As mandated by a 1993 settlement agreement requiring ATK to continue operating and maintaining the groundwater system until the final remedy is complete, with costs shared 80% by the government and 20% by the contractor, the justification cites this agreement as the rationale for the sole source award. The base contract value is $5.5 million over a base period of 8 months and 4 option periods through November 2024.
