About this opportunity
The U.S. International Trade Commission published this Special Notice to announce its intention to negotiate and award a sole source modification to an existing contract with Bureau Van Dijk. The modification would add a new Contract Line Item Number for the acquisition of legacy firm level company data to support an econometric modeling project assessing foreign direct investment and cross-border patterns.
The Special Notice provides details on the modification, including that it is anticipated for award in September 2022 for a one-year license. Interested contractors were instructed to identify their interest and capabilities to Debra Bridge by email only by September 26th, with phone calls discouraged. The modification is being pursued on a sole source basis since Bureau Van Dijk is uniquely qualified to provide these proprietary legacy data as the information is not available elsewhere. No other contractors satisfy the agency's requirement. The notice cautions there is no obligation by the government to issue a solicitation or make an award.
