About this opportunity
Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division intends to award a sole-source contract vehicle to Lockheed Martin Corporation by May 5, 2025, for engineering support and sustainment supplies and services for the AN/AAQ-30 series Target Sight Systems. The contract vehicle is anticipated to transition from a Basic Ordering Agreement to an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
Lockheed Martin qualifies as sole source under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 as the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Target Sight System. The government asserts no other source possesses the requisite knowledge, engineering expertise, aircraft integration information, and technical data required to perform contractor support services, interim sustainment support, system upgrade support, Foreign Military Sales support, and associated supplies and services.
The maximum IDIQ ceiling is anticipated at $85 million. The initial job order for contractor support services is valued at $3.5 million. Contract action is anticipated to be awarded under FAR Part 15, contracting by negotiations, on July 30, 2025. Place of performance is Florida. The PSC code is K016 (Modification of Equipment—Aircraft Components and Accessories); NAICS 334511 applies.
All responsible sources may submit capability statements or proposals. Interested parties should direct subcontracting inquiries to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, Florida. The RFP will not be posted to SAM.gov; it will be provided to the contractor by electronic mail.
