This Pre-solicitation notice is not Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement.
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command MICC - Fort Knox intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program (SFL TAP) services at various locations in support of the United States Army Human Resources Command (HRC), Fort Knox, KY. This is a non-personal services contract to operate established SFL TAP centers and satellite offices and provide pre-separation counseling and employment assistance training services for soldiers. The period of performance includes a 60-day phase in, a 12-month base, and two one-year option periods. Option periods will be exercised at the Government's discretion.
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541612 (Size Standard: $15M), Human Resources Consulting Services, applies to this procurement. This RFP will be posted to ASFI/FedBizOpps on or about 19 December 2014. This date is subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on this website. Contractors must download the solicitation from the website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. This action is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB); all responsible and responsive SDVOSB businesses may submit a proposal for consideration. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) prior to the closing date listed in the solicitation. Prior to registering in SAM, contractors must obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) and Bradstreet number at 1-800-333-0505. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing to the contract specialist and received by 17 December 2014.
