About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command has issued a Limited / Sole Source Justification Notice for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to support the USSOCOM Parachute Team's training and demonstration requirements in the Tampa, FL area. The BPA covers jump team services including single jump tickets, videographer services, instructor support, gear rental, parachute packaging, and aircraft rentals for Twin Otter and Cessna 182 aircraft. Skydive City was identified as the sole Commercial Airlift Review Board (CARB) certified carrier meeting DoD requirements in the local area, justifying the single-source procurement. A Sources Sought notice on SAM.gov from November 2024 confirmed no alternative vendors could meet the specific requirements, with other potential vendors lacking CARB approval or proper registration. The contract period spans five years from February 7, 2025, through February 6, 2030, with team members requiring at least 10 jumps monthly to maintain proficiency in representing USSOCOM at military, social, and sporting events. The specific award amount was not disclosed in the documentation, but the contract was awarded on January 27, 2025, under contract number FA481425A0005.
