5 each Siren Chassis Assemblies

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis, a quantity of five each Siren Chassis Assemblies. This requirement is sole sourced to WaveTherm Corporation, 212 Powell Drive Suite 112, Raleigh, NC 27606, due to WaveTherm Corporation being the original designer and manufacturer of this specific Siren Chassis Assembly. It was designed to meet specific conduction, strength, and incursion compliance (ANSI/VITA 48.2-2010, ANSI/VITA 48.0-2010 and IP66). WaveTherm Corporation is the sole manufacurer and seller of this product. Any firms believing that they can provide the product may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO. See the DLIS website for registration details: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/.


All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.


Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an "Active" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an "Active" SAM registration.
