The Department of the Air Force Special Operations Command is seeking offers for a Simplified Acquisition for Base Engineering Requirement (SABER) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Construction projects will be awarded by individual task orders on an as-needed basis. Projects will be in support of real property maintenance, repair, alteration, and new construction. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including, but not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, plans, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management, and other services (including engineering/ technical design support), items, and incidentals necessary for the successful completion of issued task orders.The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to design, manage, and accomplish a broad range of repair, alteration, and/or new construction work on the installation and other real property owned or managed by Hurlburt Field. The projects will include tasks in a variety of trades such as demolition, site work, excavation, cast-in-place concrete, masonry, structural steel, electrical, mechanical (including HVAC), painting, carpentry, roofing, millwork, road repair, and other specialty and general construction work.The resultant contract will be awarded to a single responsible offeror who provides the government Best Value. Through the evaluation phase, the Government may consider award to other than the lowest priced offeror. This acquisition will be a competitive 8(a) set aside.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $45M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiated Procedures. Performance period is one base period of six (6) months with four (4) one-year options. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Estimated magnitude for the life of the contract is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award for each task order issued under this IDIQ. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron.
