About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a contract to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for comprehensive sustainment services for VH aircraft, including VH-92A, VH-60N, and VH-3D models. The procurement will cover a wide range of integrated logistics support activities, including sustaining engineering, program management, repair, reliability improvements, configuration management, and training activities. The contract will be awarded under a unique acquisition authority that allows for a sole-source procurement when no other suppliers can meet agency requirements. Interested parties are invited to submit capability statements by March 13, 2025, with the government reserving full discretion to determine whether to pursue a competitive procurement. All responses received within fifteen days of the publication date will be considered by the government, with questions to be directed to Brittany Reynolds via email.
The pre-solicitation notice does not indicate a specific set-aside for small businesses, though small businesses are encouraged to explore potential subcontracting opportunities by contacting Deborah Zacharias at Lockheed Martin. The contract falls under the Aircraft Manufacturing NAICS category (336411) and the Rotary Wing Aircraft PSC category (1520). While specific contract value and quantity details are not provided, the comprehensive nature of the sustainment services suggests a significant and complex procurement effort. The contract appears focused on maintaining and improving the operational capabilities of critical VH aircraft used likely for high-profile transportation and mission-critical operations. Small businesses interested in participating are specifically directed to explore subcontracting possibilities through the designated Lockheed Martin contact.
