About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) is seeking to procure 46 Shroud Segment, Turb components (Part Number 4071453, NSN 2840013222051NZ) for the F100 engine at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. These titanium alloy shroud segments provide protection to the 3rd stage stator and outer diameter of the #2 bearing seal & support assembly. Potential contractors must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) through DoD SAFE and meet qualification requirements per FAR 52.209-1, with sources required to be pre-approved before contract award. The solicitation (FD20302501310) is estimated to be issued on 30 May 2025, with responses due by 30 June 2025. An Ombudsman is available to address contractor concerns during the proposal development phase, and electronic procedures will be used for the solicitation, with full details available on SAM.gov.
The procurement is not set aside for any specific business category and appears to be a one-time spares buy for new manufacture of the components. The current estimated unit cost is $3,568.23, with a potential total contract value of approximately $164,138.58 for the 46 units. The item is currently sourced from Raytheon Technologies Corporation (CAGE code 77445), and delivery is scheduled for 21 March 2027, with early delivery acceptable. The contract is subject to the availability of appropriated funds, and vendors must propose a single unit price that covers a range of potential quantities. Unique Item Identification (IUID) requirements will apply for unit prices exceeding $5,000, and the item is classified under NAICS 336412 (Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing) and PSC 2840 (Gas Turbines And Jet Engines, Aircraft, Prime Moving; And Components).
