About this opportunity
CANCELLED. The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP FLCY) and Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) cancelled the Ship Repair Industry Day scheduled for June 3, 2026, in Yokosuka, Japan, due to an approaching typhoon. The event was open to all ship repair service providers authorized to conduct business in Japan, including existing Master Ship Repair Agreement and Agreement for Boat Repair (MSRA/ABR) holders, with no set-aside applied. The industry day was designed as market research to inform potential bidders of U.S. Navy requirements for surface ship repair and maintenance supporting Forward Deployed Naval Forces, assess local industry interest and capabilities, and provide technical guidance on proposal development. Planned presentations covered surface ship maintenance workload forecasts, tugboat and vessel maintenance requirements, contractual matters, and an Oily Waste Water Treatment Services IDIQ follow-on contract. Attendees were to register via a fillable form by the deadline, indicating interest in ship repair, ashore contracts, or both, and could request 30-minute one-on-one Q&A sessions on a first-come, first-served basis. No rescheduled date has been announced.
