About this opportunity

The National Park Service (NPS) Southeast Region is seeking to hire a qualified contractor to conduct reconnaissance and intervention activities for Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease (SCTLD) in Dry Tortugas National Park. The contractor will be required to plan and implement a 10-day cruise to the park, focus dive efforts on 3-4 reef areas with high density of SCTLD-susceptible species, apply amoxicillin paste to treat diseased corals, and collect up to 120 tissue biopsies for genetic analysis. The technical proposal will be evaluated on the qualifications and experience of personnel, past performance, and recent specialized experience, and is more important than cost.
