About this opportunity
The Government Publishing Office is seeking a contractor to fabricate 39 Silicon Edge Graphic (SEG) panels for the "Welcome to Indian Land" Alcatraz Exhibit. The solicitation requires a comprehensive service that includes printing, sewing, detailing, fabricating, wiring, and transporting panel components to the designated site in San Francisco. Contractors must provide a sample 24x24" panel for testing and approval, and meet specific technical requirements including dye-sublimation printing on polyester fabric and SEG frames with integral LED lighting. The bid submission is due by April 4, 2025, at 11 am Eastern Time, with electronic submissions required via email. The contract mandates strict quality assurance standards, including Level III specifications for printing and finishing, and requires a post-award conference to finalize project details.
The contract is not set aside for any specific business category and allows no subcontracting, meaning the selected vendor must complete all work internally. The project has a specific delivery timeline, with final delivery required by June 6, 2025, to Westar Marine Services in San Francisco. Panels must be 24 x 24" with reinforced video monitor mounting locations and frames including adjustable screw feet and LED lighting systems operating at 7 watts per square foot with a 5000K-6500K color temperature. The contract includes an extended one-year warranty for materials and workmanship.
