About this opportunity

The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, operating under the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 10, is seeking qualified sources to provide uniformed security services for the Parma Community Based Outpatient Clinic located at 8787 Brook Park Road, Parma, Ohio. This pre-solicitation notice is a sources sought synopsis designed to identify potential qualified vendors and their size classifications under NAICS 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services) rather than a formal solicitation announcement. Interested offerors must submit capability statements along with three customer references demonstrating similar security service experience. Respondents are required to provide detailed company information, including their point of contact details, size classification documentation, and answers to specific questions regarding GSA schedule availability, direct service provision or teaming arrangements, and any certifications as disadvantaged or woman-owned businesses. The response deadline for this sources sought notice is April 8, 2026, with all interested vendors required to submit formal proposals when the actual solicitation announcement is released.

This procurement uses no set-aside designation, meaning it is open to all qualified vendors regardless of business size or ownership status. The pre-solicitation notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide a specific contract award value or budget range. The small business size standard for this category is $29 million in average annual receipts, which will be used to evaluate vendor classifications. Responses submitted to this sources sought synopsis are preliminary in nature and will not be considered adequate responses to the formal solicitation announcement; therefore, all interested parties must submit separate responses when the solicitation is officially released. No timeline for service delivery, contract duration, or specific performance metrics are detailed in this pre-solicitation notice.
