About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command is seeking qualified general contractors for a facility assessment of the dining facility at Schriever Air Force Base. The procurement entails a comprehensive evaluation of the external, internal, and equipment infrastructure of the dining facility, with the goal of developing a detailed plan for revitalization, repair, and modernization. Interested contractors must submit a capability statement limited to five pages that includes a completed Past Performance Questionnaire to demonstrate their qualifications and related experience. The capability statement will be evaluated based on the organization's demonstrated ability to perform similar assessment work and the level of detail provided regarding relevant project experience. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only, with responses due by March 23, 2026, and an anticipated formal solicitation expected to be issued in late March 2026.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and does not identify any current contractors or incumbents. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, and contract cost details will be determined following the assessment phase. The notice does not specify a particular timeline for the assessment work itself, though the evaluation of sources and subsequent solicitation development is expected to occur within the next two weeks. Contractors responding to this Sources Sought notice should understand that responses are submitted for planning and informational purposes only and will not constitute a binding commitment or obligation by the Government. Firms selected from the sources sought process will be added to the Government's bidders list and invited to compete on the formal solicitation package, which will include complete construction documents and project specifications.
