About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency published a Special Notice seeking industry feedback on a draft Performance Work Statement for the Commercial Broadband Satellite Program Satellite Services Contract II. This contract will provide worldwide commercial telecommunications services including satellite capacity in C, Ku, Ka, and X bands for maritime, airborne, and ground platforms as well as commercial teleport services, backhaul connectivity, monitoring and control, and operations to support the U.S. Navy's COMSATCOM requirements.

The objective of the Special Notice is to solicit recommendations from industry to improve the draft Performance Work Statement in order to better define the government's satellite communications requirements and enhance future procurement of these services. Contractors are instructed to provide feedback using the attached comments matrix spreadsheet by May 29, 2019. Eligible contractors may submit voluntary responses to assist the government, as this notice does not constitute a solicitation and no proposal, award, or funds are associated with the request for feedback.
