About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps, specifically Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, is seeking quotes for specialized water system components, including two Flygt NF-3085 Submersible Pumps, one Goulds WS05B Submersible Pump, and one Grove Gearbox Assembly. This procurement is classified under NAICS code 333914 for Measuring, Dispensing, and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees. The solicitation is a combined synopsis/request for quote (RFQ) prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines, emphasizing full and open competition. Quotes are due on June 11, 2025, at 11:59 AM, with questions accepted via email within 24 hours of RFQ posting. The evaluation will primarily focus on price reasonableness, with the government intending to award the contract in aggregate, meaning all line items must be priced for a responsive quote.
The solicitation is not set aside for any specific business category, allowing all qualified vendors to compete. The procurement is specifically for replacement components for the AquaABF Automatic Backwash Filter System at Camp Lejeune, located in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Market research confirmed these are proprietary products with limited distribution networks, and no small business manufacturers were identified as capable of providing compatible parts. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must provide comprehensive company information with their submission. The quotes must remain valid for 90 days, with FOB Destination pricing preferred, and the government will select the most advantageous offer based on meeting the strict form, fit, and functional requirements of the existing water filtration infrastructure.
Notice text
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is under NAICS code 333914 size standard of 750 employees. An Offeror’s submission of a quote does not constitute a contract or authorize work to begin. This document is not legally binding and does not commit the US Government in any way.
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement Publication Notice (DPN) 20250117.
In accordance with FAR 12.102(c), when a policy in another part is inconsistent with FAR Part 12, Part 12 shall take precedence.
See attached Synopsis/Solicitation.
Offers are due on 11 June 2025 at 11:59 AM
Questions will be accepted via email up to (24) hours after the posting of the RFQ. No phone questions will be accepted. The deadline is necessary to ensure timely award and the Government may, in its sole discretion, choose not to respond to questions received after the deadline. Questions will be reviewed and addressed via an amendment to the solicitation and/or posting of the Questions and Answer(s) (Q&A) document.
Quote must contain all requested line items as the contract award will be made in aggregate. Therefore, any quote received without all line items priced will be considered non-responsive.
Offerors are instructed to completely fill out the section (Offeror’s Information) on the attachment and return it along with your quote. Quotes should be valid for 90 days unless stated otherwise in the quote.
