About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for a Rough Terrain Stacker to support the U.S. Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA). The RFI is specifically seeking potential sources for one self-propelled warehouse truck to be delivered to the TMDE Support Center in Rock Island. This market research is being conducted to help identify equipment to replace a currently borrowed fork truck, which will no longer be available when USATA moves to a new laboratory. The notice is classified under NAICS Code 333924 for Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer, and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing, with a Product Service Code of 3930. The RFI is purely for information gathering and does not constitute a commitment to contract.

Interested contractors are requested to submit responses by May 27, 2025, with specific documentation requirements including full company name, business size, socio-economic status, point of contact details, CAGE code, and Unique Entity Identifier. The Rough Terrain Stacker must meet precise specifications: a 3,000-pound capacity, 63-inch lift height, 2-inch lowered height, and a travel speed of 2.1m/h. All responses must be submitted via email to the primary contacts, Portia R. Sampson (Contracting Officer) and CPT David M. Butz (Contract Specialist), with no phone calls accepted. The set-aside status is currently to be determined, meaning the opportunity is open to all businesses.
