This is a pre-solicitation announcement for an anticipated single-award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, and interested parties must submit capabilities statements clearly identifying their business size by the April 7, 2026 deadline. The procurement requires suppliers capable of delivering items in accordance with specified requirements, with all deliveries due by August 31, 2026. This Sources Sought notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to award a contract; the government reserves the right to determine whether to compete this requirement based on responses received. Potential offerors should monitor SAM.gov for the release of a formal solicitation, which will be posted if the government determines to proceed with this procurement.

This procurement is not using any set-aside designation at this stage; however, the government has indicated that based on sources sought responses, the requirement may subsequently be set-aside for Small Businesses or procured through full and open competition, with all Small Business Set-Aside categories under consideration. No current contractor information or specific award value is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The Supply List file indicates the procurement involves 20 line items covering various ship-related equipment and pump components, with quantities ranging from 2 to 4 units per line item and delivery to the west coast by August 31, 2026. Most line items require Item Unique Identification (IUID) tracking. The government will not provide compensation for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought notice, and any decision not to proceed with a competitive solicitation remains solely within the government's discretion.
