NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for services of a Roman Catholic Priest to be negotiated on a competitive basis with SBA-certified 8(a) firms per FAR 19.805 in support of U.S. Navy Support Facility (NSF) Diego Garcia. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.



The requirement is for Roman Catholic Priest services as a Contract Religious Ministry Professional (CRMP) in support of the Command Religious Program (CRP) of NSF Diego Garcia (British Indian Ocean Territory) Chapel of the Palms.

Candidates must be ordained Roman Catholic priests with the requisite skills and experience acceptable to the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS) and in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).



The period of performance shall be from 01 August 2012~31 July 2013 and four option years.



The solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about 03 July 2012 with proposals due by 10 July 2012.



This firm-fixed-price services type contract will be awarded utilizing Best Value evaluation procedures.



This is a competitive 8(a) procurement. Only SBA-certified 8(a) firms will be considered.



All responsible SBA-certified 8(a) firms may submit a proposal which shall be considered by NAVSUP FLC PS.
