About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island is seeking to procure six heavy-duty roll-off containers through a Firm Fixed Price contract. The procurement includes four 30-cubic yard and two 40-cubic yard containers with specific structural requirements, including 1/4" floor thickness, 3" structural channels, and 12-gauge walls. Vendors must submit their quotes electronically by December 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM EST, with the government intending to evaluate and award the contract without further discussions. The comparative evaluation will focus on price and non-price factors, eliminating unacceptable quotations and comparing at least the two lowest-priced quotes. Vendor questions must be submitted within two days of the solicitation's issue date, and the contract will be awarded to the offer deemed most advantageous to the government, ensuring fair and reasonable pricing.

The solicitation is designated as a 100% Small Disadvantaged Business set-aside under NAICS code 332439, with a size standard of 600 employees. The containers must be primed and painted Hunter Green and include roller wheels at the front and rear. Delivery is required within 90 days after contract award, with the place of performance located in Beaufort, SC 29905. While specific contract value details are not explicitly stated, the procurement is for six specialized roll-off containers with precise engineering specifications. The contract will be managed by Contract Specialist Andrea Learn, and vendors must submit a completed SF1449, proprietary quote with pricing including shipping, specification sheets, and delivery timeline.
