About this opportunity

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is seeking to procure Risk-Informed Decision Making (RIDM) Technical Support Services. The objective is to acquire contractor support to assist FERC in carrying out risk-related activities for its Dam Safety Program. This is a new requirement, not an incumbent contract. FERC plans to award a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Labor Hour contract with Cost Reimbursement for Other Direct Costs. Proposals will be evaluated on a best value trade-off basis, with technical/non-price factors being more important than price. Key evaluation criteria include understanding of the requirement, technical/management approach, corporate capability and experience, and personnel qualifications.

This is an unrestricted procurement, not a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, with a $19.5M small business size standard. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by July 22, 2024, and proposals are due by August 1, 2024. The contract will have a 5-year period of performance, consisting of a base year and four option years. The place of performance is FERC Headquarters in Washington, DC.
