About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice seeks sources for the delivery of rip rap, stone, and rock materials to Midway Atoll, with geotextile fabric also required. The Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service requires these materials be delivered in full by October 1, 2022. Interested sources must provide backhaul and disposal of various non-hazardous construction debris from the atoll. Responses are due by April 5, 2022 and shall include the business' DUNS, CAGE code, quarry source location, and confirmation of meeting delivery and backhaul requirements.
There is no set-aside designated for this requirement. As this is a sources sought notice, specific NAICS/PSC codes and potential award values are not yet determined. However, based on the materials and services required to support construction activities at Midway Atoll, it is expected the subsequent solicitation would incorporate NAICS 237310 for highway, street, and bridge construction, with a budget likely in the range of several hundred thousand dollars depending on final quantities.
